Esthetician/Skin Care
The curriculum for students enrolled in Esthetician course shall consist of six hundred (600) clock hours of technical
instruction and practical operations covering all practices of a Cosmetician, pursuant to Section 7354 of the Cosmetology
Act. For the purpose of this section, technical instruction shall mean instruction by demonstration, lecture, classroom
participation, or examination. Practical operation shall mean the actual performance by the student of a complete service
on another person. Please note 170 hours will be devoted to clinic/theory experience, which shall include all phases of
being a Cosmetician.
Our facility includes a fully equipped, high-end day spa and salon training area. In this six hundred (600) hour, four- to six-month course, you’ll learn procedures and techniques about skin, skin structure, skin function and proper skin care treatments.
As a licensed esthetician, you’ll be able to perform such procedures as facials, waxing, body wraps, anti-aging and laser treatments in a spa, resort, salon, high-end department store or medical setting.
